Jen is a parental leave coach who helps individuals, families, supervisors, and organizations navigate the transitions before, during, and after parental leave. She supports clients with leave planning, postpartum preparation, identity shifts, and the transition to working parenthood.
As the founding director of the Tucson Regional Educator Collaborative at the University of Arizona, Jen worked closely with school districts, educators, and school leaders. This experience gives her a strong understanding of the realities of educational workplaces. It uniquely positions her to support teachers, school employees, and districts seeking to improve parental leave experiences and employee retention.
Her coaching combines practical education, values-based reflection, and individualized support to help clients make informed decisions and feel greater confidence and agency throughout the process. When appropriate, Jen may also incorporate breathing, mindfulness, or yoga practices into sessions.
Jen also works with supervisors and organizational leaders to strengthen communication and create smoother parental leave transitions for both employees and employers. Client feedback consistently highlights how valuable informed and supportive leadership can be during this season.
Jen is also an adult educator, a former high school math teacher, a yoga instructor (including prenatal), postpartum doula, and a mom of two delightful and energetic pre-teens.
